Software
Diese Website beinhaltet "historische" Linux-Distributionen.
Um einen Download zu vereinfachen, sind jeweils die kompletten
Distributionen in einem tar-File zusammengefasst. Innerhalb der
Dists sind praktisch alle Dateien komprimiert, deswegen ist eine
weitere Komprimierung der tar-Archive nicht sinnvoll.

This site contains "historic" Linux distributions. To simplify
the download each distribution is packed into a tar file.
Within the distributions almost all files are already compressed,
so compressing the tar archive would be useless.

Bitte dran denken, dass dies rein historische Linux-Versionen sind, die
auch auf entsprechender Hardware eingesetzt werden sollten, da fuer viele
moderne Hardware naturgemaess noch kein Treiber-Support existiert.
Die meisten Distributionen stammen von der "SuSE Linux aktuell Oktober 1994"
bzw. die Slackware kommt von der "InfoMagic LINUX CD-ROM February 1994"
(vielen Dank an Matthias Roth fuer das Zur-Verfuegung-Stellen).

Please remember that these distributions are historic, so you should use
them on appropriate old machines since they lack drivers for modern
hardware.
Most distributions are from the CD-ROMs "SuSE Linux aktuell Oktober 1994"
and "InfoMagic LINUX CD-ROM February 1994" (thanks to Matthias Roth for
lending me the latter).
